A dance is a tribute to the joy and energy of the 70s and 80s—a time of unforgettable music, movement, and connection. It is lovingly dedicated to the memory of our good

Disclaimer

A contemporary ballet that explores the surreal contradiction we often see in ads. Where joyful images of nature, laughter, and love are paired with voiceovers listing intense side effects, even death. Through movement, we confront this strange duality. How beauty and serenity are used to mask discomfort and danger. As you watch these clips, notice how the dancers embody both the romance of the visuals and the unease of the message. Beautiful, unsettling, and thought-provoking.

Civil Twilight

This dance is a tribute to the joy and energy of the 70s and 80s—a time of unforgettable music, movement, and connection. It is lovingly dedicated to the memory of our good friend Marlon Morris, whose passion for music filled our lives with meaning, laughter, and lasting memories. His spirit lives on in every beat.

Mansplaining

A pejorative term meaning; (of a man) to comment on or explain to a woman in an overconfident, condescending and often inaccurate or oversimplified manner. Now that I have "Mansplained" it, the dance will take a humorous and empowering look at this concept from a women’s perspective.

From Birmingham to Baltimore

This piece compares the state of democracy in the 1960's and today as it relates to social, economic, cultural, sexual and racial equality. Sixty years ago, dance and music echoed the sentiments of a young America, desperate for change that was eventually made law by the Supreme Court. This work reflects on these social movements and how they have shaped America to this day.
